Brush Up Your Bath Décor

Make a clean sweep in your home’s décor with refined pieces from Iris Hantverk. The legendary Stockholm staple known for its striking handcrafted brushes traces its roots back to 1902. That was when a group of visually impaired artisans banded together to purchase brush and basket making materials. Building on that foundation, the company todays employs 5 visually impaired craftsmen from different cultures who make brushes by hand according to the old Swedish traditions and also partners with visually impaired craftsmen in Estonia.

The meticulously made pieces are then sold in the company’s two storied Stockholm locations and to aficionados around the world through their online store. Each piece reflects the clean, simple yet refined Scandinavian designed aesthetic.

IntoConrete is proud to offer the Iris Hantverk Collection, which was designed for Iris Hantverk by Lovisa Wattman.

Lovisa is a trained industrial designer educated at the Swedish Academy of Arts and Crafts in Stockholm and at the Aarhus Architectural School in Denmark who launched her own company in 1999. Lovisa has brought her own passion for creating breathtaking products to our collection and married it effortlessly to the Iris Hantverk aesthetic.

On our site, you’ll find beautiful pieces such as the Iris Hantverk Soap Dish, which artfully demonstrates that true craftsmanship can be felt, not just seen. The word "soap" is written in braille across this dish, whose minimalist design makes it a perfect addition to any bathroom. A shaving kit combines both worlds, pairing a badger hair and maple brush with a graceful concrete shaving cup. Rounding out IntoConrete’s Iris Hantverk collection are beautiful brushes and holders that exemplify the designer’s refined look.
