Notes:

Isopropyl alcohol has a full-combustion when burned. Soot is only created when there is a lack of oxygen. If you have an air-exchanger in your home or in any way a "tight" home, assure a window is open as you enjoy FLÎKR Fire.
Especially if buying fuel outside the United States, double-check that the word "isopropyl" is on the bottle. "Rubbing alcohol" can be different from "isopropyl rubbing alcohol" in that it can contain camphor oil, which can leave undesirable soot.

great product

this thing is a lot of fun. It's easy to light (you just have to be careful not to spill the fuel, isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol). More important, it's very easy to extinguish--just cover the burner with a coaster or pretty much anything flat and four or five inches in length. You'll discover of course how substantial this thing is. It's made of concrete, after all, and is going to outlast all of us. There's no obvious reason why it shouldn't do so nearly forever. When you fill it, it'll burn for about a half hour. The flame is attractive; it's safe inside the home; it's easy to light; it's very easy to extinguish; and it'll burn itself out in a half hour. In other words, it's no-maintenance. It's not the same as a fireplace, but for a table-top experience, it's great. I'm giving some as holiday gifts this December & I'm confident recipients will enjoy it as much as we do.

I also work with concrete... sculpting rocks (kinda like Disney land) use acid stain for interesting color... wonder if it could be done to ur product? I think it is a nice piece... great flame... deeper to add time to the burn maybe? anyway... good job thanks for adding to my ambience Dave
