Each concrete piece is unique; bubbles, small imperfections, and slight variations in color are part of the piece’s singularity and character. Concrete is a live material. Notes:

Isopropyl alcohol has a full-combustion when burned. Soot is only created when there is a lack of oxygen. If you have an air-exchanger in your home or in any way a "tight" home, assure a window is open as you enjoy FLÎKR Fire.
Especially if buying fuel outside the United States, double-check that the word "isopropyl" is on the bottle. "Rubbing alcohol" can be different from "isopropyl rubbing alcohol" in that it can contain camphor oil, which can leave undesirable soot.

I LOVE this! It is beautiful to look at and totally cool when you have it lit. As the directions say...it might take a few moments longer than expected to light it.. But, once lit it is beautiful!! I plan on buying more for gifts!!!

Flikr Fire2 rocks!

I received my Flikr Fire2 last week, and I have to say the 5 star reviews I read before buying were definitely right. This little (though not light) portable fireplace throws off a great 6" - 8" flame and provides great ambiance. Like the other reviews, I have to agree with them that the fire only lasts about 45 minutes, but after a little cool down period, it's easy enough to refill and start another fire again. Just wish it lasted a bit longer each time. But that's for the next, upgraded version, right?
